Why do synthetic oils work better in the cold?
In cold weather, you want to use lubricants with the right viscosity.
The pour point of a liquid is the temperature below which the liquid loses its ability to flow. Synthetic oils have lower pour points, so they flow quickly and prevent metal-to-metal contact even in freezing temperatures.
Pro tip: Store lubricants at least 10 degrees above their pour points to keep them from freezing.

Heavy-duty technology for your heavy-duty equipment
Even in freezing temperatures, the right Mobil lubricants will help protect your equipment. The Mobil products listed below have proven to perform through the cooler, northern climates.
