Storage for success
Maintain your oils to help protect your equipment.
Keep your oils pristine:
- Store lubricants in sealed containers in a sheltered room or building when possible
- Color code grease and oil cartridges and covers to avoid mixing incompatible products
- Store drums horizontally, and follow the “first in, first out” principle to avoid overstock
- If there is any doubt about the status of your oil, isolate the drum, then consult your vendor for advice
